The Wardrobe in an Old House

The story takes place during World War II and follows the adventures of four siblings: Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. The children are evacuated from London and sent to live with Professor Kirke in his large, old house in the countryside.

While exploring the house, Lucy discovers a mysterious wardrobe in an empty room. When she steps inside the wardrobe, she finds herself in a magical land called Narnia.
